Leading mobile wallet GCash has expanded its money remittance service as it partners with PERA HUB, a retail brand of PETNET under Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc. The partnership expands the reach of GCash Padala to more than 3,000 remittance centers that can cater to millions of Filipino recipients.
With PERA HUB, GCash users can now send money to recipients who are non-GCash users with fees of as low as P5 for P500. This saves travel time for the sender by simply using their smartphones to send money to their loved ones anytime and anywhere.
To claim the transfer, the recipient simply needs to visit the nearest PERA HUB retail outlet, present a valid ID and the Padala Reference Number they received via SMS.
